this website exists out of spite.
some guy on the internet saw the domain sadmonkeypics.org and his first instinct was to redirect it to his startup. not to put sad monkeys on it. not to do anything fun with it. he saw something whimsical and decided to turn it into a sales funnel.
he charges people $10-100 a month for a chat window that resells other companies' work. 72 products in the store, none of them his. the discount code is called "SECRET" and it pops up for literally everyone. he paid $70+ a year for a .ai domain when a .org costs ten bucks.
and when someone called him out on it, he said "if you want sad monkey pics, send me some and I'll think about it."
so i bought the domain instead. now it has sad monkeys on it.
